EDE Instructors have acquired a wealth of knowledge, through many years of practical field experience and are willing to share that knowledge. These Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced classes are standardized. User specific i.e. tailored to your need's classes are also regularly provided. Workshop Training courses are also conducted that include hands on instruction. This type of instruction is very important to truly understand and retain the knowledge gained during training. Hearing it, and seeing it done, do not compare to actually doing the training!

Online Testing Principles/Refresher Courses

Course Description/Subjects: Periodically, 4 hours of instruction

These courses will be on a sign-up bases and will be performed via Microsoft Teams or Webex.  An email alert will be sent out for specific details and times, dates etc. 

Beginner Electrical Diagnostic Testing of Rotating Machinery

Course Description/Subjects: One day, 8 hours of instruction
This entry level course is designed to give attendees adequate working knowledge of fundamental electrical tests. Specifically, those recommended for electric motor and generator electric insulation systems. This course is not testing equipment vendor specific.

Intermediate Electrical Diagnostic Testing of Rotating Machinery

Course Description/Subjects: Two days, 8 hour of instruction per day
This course is designed for those who already have some practical knowledge of motor and generator electrical test techniques. It expands upon the student's knowledge and can be test equipment vendor specific.

Advanced Electrical Diagnostic Testing of Rotating Machinery

Course Description/Subjects: Three days, 8 hour of instruction per day
This course is designed for seasoned motor testing professionals who may need a brush up on the latest techniques, or students who have successfully completed the Beginner and Intermediate courses. This course covers the high points of the previous two diagnostic classes, and then expands upon the knowledge base. 

EDE Users Group - Annual Event 

Course Description/Subjects:  2 1/2 Day Course held in Loveland Colorado at EDE Headquarters

NETA Short Course - Technical Training

Course Description/Subjects: Elements of an Effective Motor Program and Calibration of Motor Test Equipment

This course has been reviewed and approved by the Members of the TD Review Committee at NETA and can be offered for 8 CTD credit under the motor category. This event is held in Loveland, CO at EDE headquarters and will usually coincide with the Annual EDE Users Group.
