The CAL5000 Calibration Verification System has been developed for periodic maintenance and calibration checks of electrical test equipment. It provides NIST traceability for the following (but not limited to) electrical tools: Insulation testers, Meg-ohm Meters, Continuity Testers, AC/DC High Potential Testers, Surge Testers that have Meg-Ohm or HiPot function, Digital Multimeters and DLRO's and other motor test equipment such as Motor Circuit Evaluation devices (MCE).
The CAL5000LT is ideal for double checking results and to pretest/verify field test equipment. This small toolbox apparatus carries two (2) values to help ensure equipment appropriate operation. Custom values are available upon request

CAL5000 Kit for calibration verification of electrical test equipment
The CAL5000S is a add on module for the CAL5000 Calibration Verification System. It can be purchased separately or as part of the CAL5000 kit. It verifies the output voltage of surge testers, and other high frequency voltages. The high frequency nature of the surge pulse requires a probe with suitable bandwidth. These probes are also included in the kit.
This calibration equipment (CAL5000S) allows easy measurement of surge voltage impulses (from Surge Testers), Spike voltages from reflected waves (from VFD motor applications) and detecting shaft voltages (which age motor bearings).

The HPD-2 Heater Power Detector provides continuous monitoring of electric motor winding heaters. It is also useful for switch gear heaters and other temperature sensitive applications. Monitor real time performance of space heaters inside electric motors, and other constant current apparatus. The HPD-2 is an easy way to do the job. Additionally, an optical isolated output allows the operator to drive a PLC or other transmitter directly with the HPD-2.

The SST-50 Start Stop Timer is a rechargeable battery enclosed unit that magnetically attaches to the outside of any electric motors case and counts each start. It also records run time in six (6) minute intervals (1/10 Hour). The display gives the maintenance professional knowledge on duty cycle that motors are operating within.

Why Infrared Windows?
• Risk Control: Opening an enclosure to perform periodic infrared scans increases risk of triggering an arc flash incident. Using inspection windows eliminates that high-risk task.
• Safety: Closed-panel IR, visual and ultrasound inspections are safer for personnel, plant assets and downstream processes.
